Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 17, 2026

Welcome to GC Chelsea Concrete. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services

GC Chelsea Concrete provides concrete contractor services including but not limited to driveways, patios, foundations, stamped concrete, repairs, and commercial installations. All services are subject to availability and are provided based on the terms outlined in individual project quotes and contracts.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified. Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of assessment. If site conditions differ from those assessed, or if you request changes to the scope of work, pricing may be adjusted accordingly.

Final pricing is confirmed in writing before work begins. Payment terms, schedules, and methods will be outlined in your project contract.

3. Project Timeline

We provide estimated project timelines based on typical conditions. Actual completion dates may vary due to weather, material availability, permit delays, or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to complete your project as efficiently as possible.

You agree to provide reasonable access to the work site during scheduled times. Delays caused by limited access, customer-requested changes, or issues beyond our control may extend the project timeline.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in your project contract. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards unless otherwise specified.

Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by law. If payment is not received according to the agreed schedule, we reserve the right to suspend work until payment is brought current.

5. Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind our workmanship and provide warranties as outlined in your project contract. Warranty coverage typically includes defects in installation and workmanship but does not cover damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, acts of nature, or conditions beyond our control.

Concrete naturally develops minor surface cracks over time due to settling and temperature changes. Small hairline cracks do not affect structural integrity and are not covered under warranty. Warranty claims must be reported promptly in writing.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring utilities are marked before we begin excavation. You must inform us of any known underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other site features that may affect the work. You agree to secure any necessary homeowner association approvals or neighbor permissions before work begins.

You are responsible for maintaining your concrete surfaces according to our care instructions. This includes keeping the surface clean, avoiding de-icing chemicals, and applying sealers as recommended.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. This includes but is not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.

We carry appropriate insurance coverage for our work. Claims must be made in accordance with our insurance policies and applicable laws.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

For active projects, the terms in effect at the time of contract signing will govern that specific project.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Massachusetts.
